Specialty Arabica
from Myanmar cupping at 85+
Shwe Ywa Ngan Coffee Co. Ltd. is an Arabica coffee producer, processor, roaster, and exporter. We produce specialty Catuai, cupping at 85+.
Shwe Ywa Ngan Coffee started operating in Ywa Ngan in 1975 with the aim of helping farmers sell coffee regionally, locally and internationally. We also were among the first to support former opium growers to switch to better livelihoods.
We have created a domestic market for small Myanmar coffee producers by buying, roasting and packaging locally processed green coffee . Our roasted Arabica beans and grounds are sold regionally in Ywa Ngan and in most supermarkets in Myanmar.
We sell our export quality coffee locally too to support the domestic coffee drinking culture. Some coffee shops buy our export quality specialty coffee as green beans to roast themselves.
We hope that people in Myanmar can taste the quality in our products. Shwe Ywa Ngan coffee is affordable without compromising on quality.
Shwe Ywa Ngan currently exports to clients in the UK and Germany. We are hoping to expand to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia including Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and Singapore.
In 2021, we produced 80 tons of green bean.
With improved practices we are scaling up. We aim to produce 200 tons by 2025, selling in local and international markets.
